At the southernmost end of America, Santiago de Chile, awaits your participation in the most important pan-American event in otorhynolaryngology, the XXXIX Pan-American Congress of Otorhynolaryngology. This great international meeting will be held together with the 81st Chilean Congress of Otorhynolaryngology, as well as the V Joint Meeting AAO-HNSF.

Expect an exceptional scientific program across all areas of the specialty, featuring over 300 speakers, including globally renowned experts. Unprecedentedly, this event will incorporate hands on cadaveric dissection courses as well as master dissection classes

All of this in the cosmopolitan and modern environment of Santiago de Chile, where we will host social activities that we believe will be even more memorable.

Dear colleagues

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the 81st Chilean Congress of Otorhinolaryngology. This year, we have the honor of jointly celebrating the 39th Congress of the Pan American Association of Otorhinolaryngology. This important scientific event has only been held once before in our country, in 1980, chaired by Professor Dr. Benjamin Rosenblüt. We are therefore filled with pride and satisfaction that our country has been selected as the venue for the most important meeting of otolaryngology specialists on our continent.

In addition to welcoming our Pan-American colleagues, our congress was also designated as the Joint Meeting of the American Academy of Otorhinolaryngology and the European Confederation of Otorhinolaryngology. This reflects international recognition of the development of the specialty in Chile and in all the countries that make up the Pan-American Association.

During these days, we will be able to exchange new knowledge and clinical experiences that will allow us to provide better care to our patients. Many countries in the Pan American Association have similar cultural and social realities, which is why the sharing of information is particularly beneficial for improving our professional work.

I invite you to share the next few days in an atmosphere of camaraderie and scientific curiosity.
